At the Eagle’s Roost, you have peace & quiet
Looking for a place with a real wow factor? Eagle’s Roost combines that homey feeling with incredible sky-touching views, a turquoise pool (fenced for safety), a BBQ patio, and a deck made for watching the sunrise… AND your dog can come too! The open-plan living space keeps everyone together for bright, sunlit breakfasts and cozy movie nights. With four bedrooms and 3 baths, everyone can also get a little privacy when they need alone time.

Sleeping in the Roost
Three bedrooms are located on the main floor, including the bunk room, while the other two sleeping areas are tucked up on the second floor, loft room included.
Wake up to the sounds of…nothing. You are above it all, literally.
All the outdoor amenities face east, which means that you get to take full advantage of coffee by the pool, toes in the water, soaking up the first rays before they even hit the valley floor. And in the afternoon, the pool is in the shade so no one gets a nasty burn!

Adventures Abound at The Eagles Roost
Packing up picnics for a full day of playing down on the Frio, hikes in Garner State Park, or leaf-peeping at Lost Maples is super easy from our fully equipped kitchen. We thought of everything from a coffee bar to the crockpot for your world-famous chili. Dine in around the breakfast bar and custom dining room table …or you can head outside to see the real star of the show…that incredible view.
The main level deck overlooks the pool, the BBQ, and the Concan area. Rockers and a dining table allow you to keep above the fray, or you can join in the fun with steps leading down to the outdoor patio. In some houses, the kitchen is where everyone wants to be. At the Eagle’s Roost, it’s the outdoors. Unobstructed views of Concan and the Frio will take your breath away, even as you are grilling on the BBQ Pit. The pool is the perfect place for cooling down after a long day of hiking, biking, horseback riding, golfing, and floating the Frio. Think about stargazing…on your floatie… blender drink in hand…this close to the sky…The fire pit is fully graveled for safety, away from the house but still in sight of the view. Stacked cords of wood on the patio are there for you to use during your marshmallow toasts and long talks by the fire after the kids have headed in.
You might see deer and jackrabbits, and even hear the call of some peacocks in the valley. We do ask that you stay within the paved and gated areas of the house. Do not let your dogs off-leash outside the gated area. This is Texas, and we do have some not-so-friendly critters out in the scrub.

Outdoor Access
The patio below is accessible by going down the side of the house and entering through the side gate, so even friends who can’t take the stairs don’t have to miss out on the pool and BBQ.
Smoking is allowed outside on the property. Around the firepit is best. Don’t make us bust you for smoking inside, and please dispose of your butts responsibly in the receptacles provided.
